Steven Moon, LPC

Steven Moon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas with experience working with the 16+ and adult populations who have experienced PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss and other life stressors. As a combat Veteran himself, he is especially passionate about working with other Veterans who have experienced trauma and has certifications in both Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

He believes that 1) clients have the ability to choose how to resolve their own problems and can make their decisions with his assistance as a facilitator and 2) we are all responsible for ourselves and have tremendous capacity to manage and regulate. His goal is to facilitate greater self-awareness through life experiences that lead to increased confidence, self-esteem, independence, mental health, and the capacity to effectively navigate the challenges of life.
